How long is the processing time?
All items are handmade to order, so please allow 7-10 working days for your order to be processed and dispatched. Working days exclude weekends and federal holidays.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States. We hope to expand our shipping options in the future as we grow!
What are the shipping costs?
Standard shipping is $6.95, or free for orders over $100.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Orders within the U.S. typically arrive in 3–7 business days once shipped. Please note that processing times may vary slightly, especially during busy seasons or holidays.
What shipping carriers do you use?
All orders are shipped via USPS using tracked delivery services.
Can I track my order?
Yes, once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email that you can use to track your package.

What is BioThane, and why is it used for dog leashes and collars?
BioThane is a durable synthetic material made from a polyester webbing coated with polyurethane or TPU. It is known for its strength, flexibility, and resistance to water, dirt, and odors, making it an ideal choice for long-lasting, easy-to-clean dog collars and leashes.
How do I clean and maintain biothane dog collars and leashes?
BioThane collars and leashes are easy to clean. Simply wipe them down with a damp cloth or wash them with mild soap and water. They dry quickly and do not require special maintenance.
How long does BioThane last?
Under normal use, BioThane will long outlast leather and nylon. But no product is completely indestructible.
My dog has sensitive skin and allergies, can I use BioThane products?
Yes! BioThane is a great choice for dogs with sensitive skin or allergies. It’s hypoallergenic, non-toxic, latex-free, and won’t trap bacteria, mold, or mildew — keeping things clean and irritation-free.
Every pup is unique, though, so it’s always best to keep an eye on your dog when trying something new.
Can BioThane colours fade or stain fur?
BioThane is built to stay bright and beautiful! Its color pigments are designed to resist fading, so your pup’s accessories keep their vibrant look. Just clean regularly and avoid leaving them in direct sunlight for long periods.
Because BioThane doesn’t absorb moisture, oils or dirt, it won’t stain your dog’s fur. A quick wipe with mild soap and water is all it takes to keep it looking brand new.
Are BioThane collars and leashes waterproof and odor-resistant?
Yes, BioThane collars and leashes are waterproof and odor-resistant. They do not absorb water or odors, making them ideal for outdoor activities and wet conditions.
Do you offer matching sets of biothane collars and leashes?
Matching BioThane collars and leashes are available for a stylish, coordinated look. Save when you purchase them together through our bundle deals.
Can I customize the color or design of my BioThane dog collar or leash?
Customization is available for collar width, size, leash length, hardware color, and traffic handle options.
For special color combinations or fabric requests, please reach out via email and we’ll be happy to assist.
Is the fabric waterproof?
Yes! The softshell fabric used in our products is waterproof, with a 6200 mm water column rating — meaning it can easily withstand even the heaviest rain.
Our fabrics are also produced by an OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 (Class I) and GOTS 7.0 certified manufacturer, ensuring every piece is safe, non-toxic, and responsibly made.
Are BioThane collars and leashes suitable for all dog breeds and sizes?
Yes! BioThane collars and leashes are suitable for all dog breeds and sizes.
Collars are available in two widths — 25mm or 38mm — and sizes XS to XL (check our Sizing Guide page for full details). Each collar is adjustable, and our leashes come in 3ft, 4ft, 5ft, or 6ft lengths to suit every pup’s needs.
Refunds & Exchange
What is your refund policy?
Returns are accepted for items that are unused, unwashed, and in new condition with original tags. Please note that personalized, custom, and sale items cannot be returned.
Returns must be received within 14 days of the original shipping date to qualify for a refund.
Shipping fees are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
How do I initiate a return?
To initiate a return, email hello@dogleyandco.com with your order number and details of the item you wish to return.
Please use a tracked and insured postal service, as we cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged parcels.
Can I exchange an item?
We do not offer exchanges at this time. If you would like to return an item and exchange it for a different one, please return the original item and place a new order for the desired item.
Do you offer refunds for sale items?
Sale items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
How long does it take to process a refund?
Once we receive your returned item, it typically takes 5-10 business days to process your refund.
What if the item I received is defective or damaged?
If your item arrives damaged or not quite right, please email us at hello@dogleyandco.com. Once we’ve assessed the issue, we’ll happily send a replacement or issue a refund, at no extra cost to you.
